It will also prolong the life of your chicken coop by providing the roof with a protective outer skin/layer. It's really sturdy but it's also light enough and easy enough for two people to lift and move around. Our coop has a roof so is protected from the elements, I'm not sure how long it will last as the wood is very soft. I love this, it was so easy to put together, the instructions were clear and it was up in about 20 minutes (1 person). All you need to apply is to have a debit or credit card, to be over 18 years of age, and to be a UK resident.

For a covered shelter, the uprights align with the floor, but for a dust bath they need to be slightly higher else the lower screws don’t connect with anything, because the base is slightly smaller than the sides (only an issue if you don’t spot this when building)

The box at the top isn't even close to weatherproof - as the summer drew to a close we had to move the whole thing into the garage because the bedding was getting soaked regularly with rainwater.
