About this deal

In his interview with the magazine, Scobie noted that when he started writing his book, Elizabeth II was still alive. This book was such a lovely read. It was as though as I was sat there talking to them. There's chapters from both Sandra and Harry, lots of stories of their life together from when they first met, including plenty of stories of their whole family. Throughout the story it's clear the love between these two is amazing. Also quite comical in places due to Harry's sense of humour, and sad in others. They will open up about happy holidays, health scares, house moves and the horror car crash that left Harry feared dead. Sandra speaks movingly about the devastating death of her beloved sister at just 58 and Harry talks about dark days as a football boss, a triumphant court battle... and the moment he accidentally ran his wife over in his car, crushing her foot... The Prince also played a key role in the downfall of his uncle, the Duke of York, at the height of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

I fell in love with Harry as a person after watching him in the jungle, as most probably did. I don't follow football and never have but I think everyone would say they knew who he was. I saw another side to him in the jungle and found him so hilarious, but from the way he spoke about Sandra even on public, on TV in front of millions, not being afraid to declare how in love with her he is, it just made me like him even more. The Duke’s apparent change of heart concerning his family comes 11 months after he demanded “accountability” as a precursor to any chance of reconciliation. The King’s formidable sister, the Princess Royal, 73, is portrayed as the chief architect of the decision to evict Harry and Meghan from Frogmore Cottage, their Windsor home. He quotes the Duke as saying: “I’m ready to forget. Get an apology or explanation? At this point, who cares, right?” By comparison, he says the Duchess, 42, has moved on and would not be extending any such olive branch. Sandra was beside herself when I was on trial in 2012 for tax evasion. It broke my heart how upset she was. But even though I knew she was angry, we never had an argument about it. We’ve always said throughout our marriage that you can’t just have a row, and throw the towel in. You’ll have good days and bad days and you just have to work through it.I was struggling with it for six or seven months. Even now if I’m talking a lot my voice starts to get a bit sore. But, fingers crossed, I’m on the mend.”

He quotes a source close to the royals as saying: “She spent more time speaking about Meghan than to Meghan. Harry Redknapp is a well known and highly respected face in the world of football. But it wasn’t until his stint in the I’m A Celebrity Jungle in 2018 that he was propelled into a whole new audience along with his loyal wife of 55 years, Sandra. Viewers instantly fell in love with the couple after Harry regaled tales of their meeting in the Two Puddings pub in Barking, London in 1963. And there was even a new found love for the classic jam roly-poly as Harry fondly revealed it was the dessert she always cooks for him! Already a well-known and respected face in the world of football, it wasn’t until Harry’s stint in the I’m A Celebrity jungle that their married life was propelled into the spotlight. About This Edition ISBN: Harry and Sandra are one of the nation’s most-loved couples who have been on an extraordinary adventure together. Their story is an honest, heart-warming tale of love, loss and loyalty. You don’t realise what your vocal cords do until they’re not working, because it affects breathing as well as talking. The shortness of breath was very difficult. My voice would vibrate and was very weak. Scobie suggests it was William who was able to convince his grandmother, Elizabeth II, to punish her “favourite son”, while Charles could not bring himself to hurt his brother. Meanwhile, the Duke of Edinburgh, 59, is described as the only member of the family who felt “uneasy” about his nephew and was concerned about his mental health. It wasn’t until a few days later when my sister Pat told me she was dating Harry’s team-mate Frank Lampard, and said that she had heard Harry was a good man that I had a change of heart.

And there was even a new found love for the classic jam roly-poly as Harry fondly revealed it was the dessert she always cooks for him! The thought of spending the night with a bunch of footballers didn’t really excite me, But Harry seemed nice, so I agreed. Harry Redknapp is a well known and highly respected face in the world of football. But it wasn't until his stint in the I'm A Celebrity Jungle in 2018 that he was propelled into a whole new audience along with his loyal wife of 55 years, Sandra.Princess Anne is described in the book as being “at the forefront of the supporters of the firm approach” taken against the Sussexes. She was right and, four years later, Harry and I got married on June 30, 1968. Pat was my bridesmaid and she wore a dress with a claret underskirt and a pale blue top. They were West Ham colours, just a little nod to the team. In happier times, Harry and Sandra will recall their time spent living in America with the late, great Bobby Moore, as well as the births of their much loved grandchildren, including former footballer Jamie’s son, Raphael, who was born last November. The couple share frank accounts of Harry's battle with depression during his tenure as a football manager, his arrest for alleged tax evasion and when he accidentally ran Sandra over leaving her with a crushed foot. They also share the many happy times they've shared, from their time spent living in America with Bobby Moore to the births of their grandchildren and of how close they have all remained as a family unit.

Scobie said that reconciliation would only be possible if the brothers could shed their anger and jealousy. William should also recognise his share of responsibility in the departure of Meghan and Harry,” he added. Prince William ‘cold’, and impatient to be KingThe Duke of Sussex is ready to put the bitter feud with his family behind him and move on but Meghan has refused to have anything to do with them, Scobie claims. The book alleges that the Waleses allowed their staff to circulate negative rumours about the Sussexes, claiming that the “media war” was far from over. Restricted to ‘harmless’ exchanges Scobie claims he has a terrible temper that he manages to keep under wraps in public, describing him as “reserved on the pitch, but unpredictable” off it. The Sussexes’ team received a letter from Sir Michael John Stevens, keeper of the privy purse, who stated that as the Duke and Duchess were no longer working members of the Royal family and lived abroad they should return the keys to Frogmore Cottage, the use of which was a wedding gift from Elizabeth II. The Princess considered her future sister-in-law a “rival” from the moment she appeared on the scene in 2016, according to Scobie.
